It felt like an incredibly long time before I sat back up.  I couldn't recall if I had fallen asleep, although I felt like I had.  I rubbed the back of my neck absent-mindedly as I stood up to look around more thoroughly.  After all, if someone had left the tape for me, and cared for my wounds, someone wanted me to discover them.
It was then that I noticed two openings in the room, one on each side.  With a shrug of my shoulder, I walked over to one with the intention of seeing what else my captor left for me, and was surprised at what I saw through it.
There was a room identical to the one I was in beyond it with a couch, table, and even a toppled over television.  However, that wasn't what caught my attention at the moment.  No, at the moment all of my attention was centered on what appeared to be the back of my head.
Remembering my tormentor back at the office building, I rushed through the room at him.  He began to run at the same time, and I chased after him frantically.  Beyond the first room was a second, identical to the first, and past that yet another that was the same.  I didn't have time to ponder how this was possible; I was too busy chasing after my attacker.
I chased him through fifteen of these rooms before I began to tire; luckily, I noticed that he began to wear down at the same time.  With renewed fury, and seeing that my twin was beginning to slow, I began to sprint after him.  Although, it would appear that he had caught a second wind as well, for I didn't catch up whatsoever. I must have kept up that pace for nearly ten rooms before I tripped and fell, exhausted.  However, by some stroke of luck, the clone fell at the same time.  Seeing a chance to perhaps catch him, I slowly crawled after, and yet he still crawled away.  I made it to the next room before I couldn't bear to go any further and decided to let him go.
I then noticed that he had stopped moving as well.  Puzzled, I pulled myself up by the couch.  My twin did the same.  I then turned around to face the direction I had come from, and I nearly fell over in shock.
I could see the back of my head in that direction as well.
I panicked, sending yet another rush of adrenaline pumping through my blood.  I looked through both openings, and in both was the back of my head.  I tipped over the couch; both of the men did the same.  I then realized what this meant.
I wasn't walking through a series of identical rooms chasing my attacker; I was running through the same room, chasing myself.  Both confused and utterly exhausted, I collapsed.  It appeared that this wasn't going to be a prison I would be able to escape from anytime soon.
Got to love suspenseful scenes that have little/no coorelation. At least, I do. =p

I really think breaking them up into these sizable chunks was a good idea,
Especially with this head-spinning piece.
It gives you a little time to let everything settle in.

Great stuff.
